The Idea Behind the Name
Samvinna is an Icelandic word meaning joint (sam) work (vinna); it’s about people working together toward a common purpose or goal. This idea sits at the center of Samvinna Solutions. My work is collaborative by design: listening carefully, identifying what matters, and helping people move toward a clearer understanding of what needs to change.
Understanding Before Solutions
Organizations often know that something isn’t working before they know exactly why. A program loses focus or momentum. A team stops speaking honestly. A change initiative doesn’t create the expected results. Leaders receive polite feedback, but rarely the full truth.
My work helps distinguish symptoms from causes. Through structured inquiry, facilitation, and applied research, I help translate what people are experiencing and where they want to go into practical recommendations, better conversations, and more useful ways forward.
